After a bit of a conversation with Nick I feel I ought to make something clear. I am not against email marketing, I'm against UNSOLICITED email marketing. All of the email addresses below have been taken off sites that have sent me unsolicited adverts for their products. One of them even has a FANTASTIC anti spam policy

Please note, the only changes I have made to their policy is to make the code xhtml strict so that it doesn't destroy my blog, The colours and underlines are all their own work

Superb isn't it ? So how come they spammed me ?

In the interest of fairness, there are people out there who would opt-in to email marketing, so I've decided to give you an oportunity. If you would like to receive a daily random link from Nicks search engine, then enter your name and email address in the boxes below and press "send". You will be sent an activation link to confirm that the email address does belong to you and then, on a daily basis, you'll receive an email with a link to one of the sites in Nicks listings.

If you do opt-in then here's how it goes :-

BOTH NICK AND I ARE TOTALLY AGAINST SPAM so, even though you've opted in, if you don't click the link to say you want the next days emails, then your email will be removed from our listings (deleted) and you will have to opt-in all over again.
I will only store your email address for the express purpose of sending you a link from Nicks site and your email address will never be disclosed in any way shape or form unless required by a court of law
If you want to opt out at any time just do nothing and you will automatically be deleted from our database

Please note :-

I'm that convinced that people really don't want spam, that I haven't even coded the form yet! As soon as I get a request to join the "link a day" list, I'll code the form.

In the meantime, if you REALLY DO want a random link a day sending to your email address, then use the contact page to tell me your name and email address, and a little note to the effect that you want a link, and I'll send you one every day until I get the coding done......... I somehow don't think I'm going to be flooded with requests.
