The sudden touch of a lovers hand,
The spark, the fear, the thrill.
The exhilerating trek through unknown land,
What happiness could this kill ?

What friendship are we destroying ?
Can we face each other at dawn ?
Will this be the start of a lifetime,
Or will we later look back and mourn ?

The need, the heat, the fire,
Burns brightly within our loins,
The all consuming desire,
Won't be satisfied 'til we're joined.

The moment almost upon us,
When the exits are all closed.
A final regret of lost inncocence,
To the future we're totally exposed.

A peace in the moment of decision.
A reciproctated frame of mind ?
A slow, gentle, exploratory hand,
What answers will it find ?

A barren land of heartlessness ?
A cold and withered place ?
Or an oasis of warmth and dampness,
And a smile upon your face ?

The soaring flames of passion,
All fears reduced to dust.
The searching arch of your spine,
The thrusting of your bust.

The fire explodes within me,
The masks cast on the ground.
The joy of play and discovery,
What pleasures are to be found ?

The frantic exploration of territory.
The tune of whimpers, then screams.
Teasing each other provacativley,
The joining, inevitable it seems.

Then finally the moment of fusion.
Together, as one at the core.
The gentle insurgence of union.
Does it matter if we're on the floor ?

The waves of fire engulf us,
Frantically, the pace we increase.
The explosive release of desire,
The collapse into total peace.

The warmth lingering after,
Bodies entwined as one,
The moment wishfully extended,
All to soon, the night has gone

I am Lucifer,
The god of hell fire,
To see you suffer,
Is my only desire.

For I am evil,
Right through to the bone.
Take a look at my heart,
It's made out of stone.

Pray fervently to god,
That impotent foe.
With all the people in the world,
My evil will grow.

I'll strike up more wars,
My favourite game,
And sit back and laugh,
At the terror and pain.

Watch humans stoop,
To depths unexplored.
You are quite imaginative,
I never get bored.

When you think you've reached,
The extent of your pain.
I'll just put you back,
At the beginning again.

Just to watch you squirm,
And beg to die.
So I can tease you more,
With a gleam in my eye.

For I am Lucifer,
The only god you respect.
I have no mercy,
Just as you'd expect.

I heard a secret,
The other night.
It appears that few,
know that I write.

Most just think,
That art is all I do.
I do write the odd poem,
Just not as many as you.

So in my wisdom,
I've taken this time.
To sit at my keyboard,
And pen you this rhyme :p

Deeply they probe inside my mind,
What will they hear ? What will they find ?
All these secrets locked in my head,
Never can be told, kept 'til I'm dead.

Screaming aloud as they torture me.
Eyes taped open, forced to see.
Relentlessly pursuing, they never tire.
Splinters under my nails, body on fire.

The secrets must stay locked up tight.
The cost is to high, if I lose the fight.
I mustn't crack, I can't crumble and cry,
For if I do, the platoon will die.

My body must endure this searing pain,
As they beat me with truncheons, again and again.
Relief as finally, up to me death does ride,
I die with a smile, secrets still kept inside.

I was looking through my photos today
A fond trip down memory lane
Remembering stolen moments with you
Trapped in the photographs grain

Skipping hand in hand through the woods
To our secluded and secret place
A blanket spread across the ground
As beside us the river raced

The birds twittering away in the hedges
The suns warmth upon our flesh
Alone at least to consume our love
The memories are still so fresh

Now all that remains is a tombstone
And a handful of photos of us
I still remember trying to cheer you up
"Tomorrow, you could get hit by a bus" :p
