Some phone calls are great

Damn, my mates just got off the telephone after giving me the best news all year!!

It would appear that all of my bimbling moments have come to fruition, 6 months of dedicated bimbling, striving every moment to achieve the perfect ambulatory motion required, 6 months of struggling valiantly into my shorts and bimbling round the field and guess what ......

WE WON THE DAHLIA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS!!!!!!

How cool is that? DAMN I FEEL GOOD :]:]:]:] Of course this means that you're gonna have to put up with me being an insuferable git whilst I wax lyrically about my finest bimbling moments which contributed to this crowning achievment!!

For those of you who want to save this moment for posterity it's meant to be in tomorrows Sun newspaper (lol, you just know I'm gonna frame that one!). As soon as I get the full details and the pictures off the camera I'll write a tad more about it.

Until then I'll take my world championship winning ass to the pub :]:]:]:]

Ok, that's another pub dry and I'm still buzzzzzzzing (and, based on the last call from Barry, so is he)

Did I ever tell you how, on the first Wednesday in May, due to the fact that I sneezed on the right dahlia, as I was bimbling past, made it grow into a world championship winning plant? ....... no? ...... damn, I must write a whole post about it ........ and the other 3,000,000 contributing moments ;)

I always knew you were a "blooming" something ... I just never would have suspected World Championship Dahlias. ;)

Glad to see that all your sneezing, digging & bimbling paid off. (The magnitude of your contribution appears to increase with either time, pints or both). Ha ha.

Congratulations Yabs!....that is QUITE an honor, you must have babied and pampered those little guys to death to get WORLD CHAMPIONS!
I tried to grow those this year in Florida and mine just sucked!:(:roll:..finally gave up & yanked 'em outta the ground - LOL. Well V always did tell me you were "Good with your hands!" - LMAO:p;);)
