Update your blacklist ;) ( admin > global settings > antispam > antispam blacklist )

You don't have quite the same protection as my blog from dicks ( pardon the pun ) like that as I do. When I get a chance to update the hound with my new stuff then wankers ( again, pardon the pun ) like that will be told to fuck off automatically ;)

I got hit with that one as well... I deleted the posts and then just banned "sinepenis.com" via the antispam blacklist and it stopped.

It's an odd one as I got no notification of a New Comment via my email.

They haven't come back

@ John, Thanks for that, I thought it was funny as I was only saying to Yabba the other day how I had never been spammed ! I thought my blog was that crap that not even spammers left a comment :roll: I am on the map at last :)

Anne ( topanga ) also got hit by the same arse, the difference is that she got an email notification of it. I've also taken a browse through Garys logs and nothing jumps out as suspicious.

6k of hits, not bad for an aussie, must be all that wow spam you've been doing ;)

I got an actual comment spam despite turingtest protection. Some sort of penis enlargement web with actual video, most likely of these allegedly enlarged penii being used for procreation - though I can't say for sure as I didn't visit their web. I should blog it but blah.

Seems to me that someone has a method for b2 and posting comments without notice.
I just got hit by some prick from .loan-machine.co.uk and a related google search seems to have directed the commentor to the spamed post
google.com.au/search?hl=en&cr=countryAU&q=leave+a+comment&start=20&sa=N

also this goes to the same post the comment appeared on....

When I get a chance I'll rattle off a version of the irish captcha, so far it's 100% able to detect bots but I still need to fully implement it and remove all my other anti-spam measures so that I can see if it really is as effective as I think it is ;)

The problem with allowing users the ability to edit their own comments is in evo terms that means "the ability to edit all comments". I've got zero problem with all the current members having that ability though, so I'll just slap y'all in a special group when I get a chance to set it up ;)

Ok, all of you should now be able to edit any of your comments on any of my blogs ... this makes you a "member" of my normal blogs though which means you can see protected posts, so if you see any funky posts that you don't think you should be able to see just let me know ;)
