Well, I've been quiet this last month because I've been a smidge of a busy bunny playing with servers. After melting a cpu and slightly toasting it's replacement on one server I then had to start migrating our server in the USA and as this also involved an OS change things were a tad complicated. The situation improved rapidly when a certain person ( Whoo shall remain nameless :| ) managed to firewall the new box ........ so well in fact that even the technicians couldn't get in and they had to re-install .... anyway, I got a day off so it wasn't all bad
Once we finally got back in, and I bankrupted Nick, I then had to try and move everything from one box to another ...... made slightly easier with the 10Mbs transfer rate :D ..... mind you, that just meant I could cockup faster .... about the fourth time round I managed to remember most sites, hey there was 18 of them huh? ..... so now that majority of the sites are on the new server, and mostly intact and running the same way they used to, I should get time to play with some code ...... that moment was shortlived.
After gaining some space on a new server for a project that Scott and I are working on, I set to work playing with code ...... briefly ...... I soon realised that the server the space was on wasn't good enough, yay, another migration .... and yet another one that involved moving a whole account. The good news was it wasn't me who had to do all the migration as it's not one of our dedi boxes. Whilst all this was going on Lycos decided that they prefer to live in the dark ages and so I also had a server to cleanup and shutdown .... mind you, I bet the cpu will be glad that I'm no longer toasting it.
To totally round off my month the FG decided to bring out the latest release of b2evolution ..... fantastic, now I have a forum full of bugs to work through ...... roll on summer when I can wander back into the field, this winter stuff's a bit to much like hard work!
Lets hope your month's been quieter ;) ..... ohhh and don't even mention the window, the garden or the bloody fence :|

Of course, all the relations were of adult age and consent was given :| .... so, I've come back to a plugin that I was playing with months ago, but put on hold because I couldn't be arsed coding in all the tag stuff that it needed. However the latest version of b2evolution has tag support, so I can just do the lazy arsed bit and code the related posts component of it ;)
Well, apart from molesting your relations, it adds a list of related posts to each of your posts based on the tags that you've used for your posts, in a kinda "nearest cuzzin" way. This is all automated ( although I might make it a skintag thing at a later date ), so you just need to upload and install ..... and yer cuzzins are mine ;)
As always, this plugin is supplied as is .... and if it molests yer granny then .... well, hell, she deserves a tad of excitement at her age huh? ... anyway, you can download it here .... let me know if it fails huh? ;)

Swift update 23rd Oct
After a tad of testing by John the plugin has had a couple of glitches ironed out. It's also had a shedload of parameters added to it so that you can play with the layout directly from admin. The zip has been updated.
Update 24th Oct ( zip updated )
The plugin has now been "widgetised" which allows you to have individual settings per blog, and a new setting has been added to the plugin settings to turn widget support on/off
Note : To use the widget abilities you need a container in your post loop where you want the related posts to appear. Obviously you also need to install the widget in the container as well ;)
Another update 24th Oct ( zip updated )
Thanks to Gary a couple of bugs with rss feeds and "only post with tags" have been cured ;)
