Amazing how the time flys!! Well, the Wench has just stepped back onto English soil after galavanting round the Med for a fortnight ...... bet she's impressed with the weather.

I suppose this means it's time for me to clear up all the beer cans and paper plates (yeah, I ran out of dishes last week sometime). I hope she managed to get her clothes cleaned on the boat because our washing machines literally at bursting point ...... mind you, if I take the cat out there'll be room for another weeks clothes in there

I must admit, I actually attempted the hoovering one day, the ashtrays had got kicked over one to many times , and the floor was a tad full. I dunno how anyone can use one of those things, I mean, why don't the put the handle at an angle so you can push it round .... it'd be far easier then the current straight-up handle ...... I guess it was designed by a man.

Anyway, those of you who actually know The Mighty V will know that she actually relaxes by doing the housework, so, in my own little way, I'm just trying to extend her holiday

Well, I'd better go make the most of my last day of freedom, I'm fairly sure the pubs open by now.
