As some of you may already know, I was abandoned yesterday by The Mighty V who departed on a 14 day cruise of the Med ......... I'll probably miss her when I sober up from my celebrations :p

Anyway, to show a bit of interest I went for a swift breeze round the P & O website and found some goodies ..... when her cruise is finished I might just tell them about the security flaws in their website :|

And now on to a couple of the goodies, the following image is a live feed from the ships webcam (it updates once a minute though.. how cheap), so you can see ........ well, lots of water I suppose.

This little goodie is a java applet that tracks her ships current position (this one's even cheaper, it only updates once every 6 hours!)

If I pull my finger out and get a server module coded, I might be able to grab and store the webcam images of the whole journey, then I should be able to make a "time-lapse" 10 minute film of it ...... if I get it done I'll no doubt post it here.

Anyway, whilst the cats away the dogs will play ........ oh no, wait, the bloody cats still here and I've got to keep it alive for two weeks!!!!!! ......... at least it'll lose some weight :|
